Oakland Central Station – under the platform is a series of street art and graffiti. One of the things that I like about spaces covered with graffiti, is the interaction between the building and different street art.

San Francisco continues to change. The block of Market Street between 6th and 7th Street contains large parts of boarded up businesses ready to be renovated. Here’s is one old and one new business.

Newly finishes mural in San Francisco’s Mission district celebrates San Francisco musical hero, Carlos Santana
This back of a recently constructed condo is on Balmy Alley which is lined with Street murals reflecting political and the Latin culture. This rather bland and artless painted wall is comparable to the changes in the Mission that is replacing a multiculturally diverse community with moneyed corporate interests.
