I had the pleasure of seeing the Ai Wei Wei Exhibition on Alcatraz Island yesterday. Spent several hours touring the various building that were normally closed but which are currently housing the exhibit. Thanks to Shanti and Derrick Mapp for organizing the outing.
Day out to Alcatraz – saw the Ai WeiWei exhibition. This was a great experience seeing these large scale and thoughtful work. Here’s the hospital ward. Reminded me of American Horror Story. It is Friday the 13th after all.
San Francisco continues to change. The block of Market Street between 6th and 7th Street contains large parts of boarded up businesses ready to be renovated. Here’s is one old and one new business.
The best part of being in a tunnel is seeing the light at the end of it.
